Tea LeaVes - YeLLow Tea

Yellow tea (黃茶) is processed with a slower drying phase. The tea generally has a very yellow-green appearance. It can also be described as high-quality teas served at the Imperial Court. The leaves give a refreshing infusion with delightful aroma. The tea types are categorized based on the plucking criteria and the processing methods. Examples of yellow tea are Silver Needle (君山銀針) from Hunan Province, Meng Ding Huang Ya (蒙頂黃芽) from Mt. Meng, Sichuan Province, and Huang Tang (Yellow Soup) from Zhejiang Province, China.
